ROBERT WRIGHT
Robert Wright co-founded the LRG Clothing brand in 1999.
Wright brought valuable work experience to the business, which Bevacqua did not have. Wright
previously worked with urban skater brands, which helped shape the scope of streetwear clothing
in Hip Hop culture. It is obvious even today that those early experiences of Wright changed the total outcome
of the Lifted Research Group in every way.
Originally known to some industry friends as "MC Robert Wright", it's obvious this co-founder
also had a history in Hip Hop culture. This is perhaps what drove the brand so strong into the music
genre's most popular trendsetter's closets and day to day wear. His idea of what fashion trends
can be and should be, helped reshape the scope of the Lifted Research Group goals.
Roert Wright information is very limited on-line. It is assumed he likes keeping privacy and
does so pretty well. Taking on interviews and media features less often than co-founder Jonas Bevacqua, Wright
remains out of the direct spotlight successfully. Perhaps a silent partner of the LRG clothing brand today,
it's a sure thing he is enjoying success.
Very different from Bevacqua in appearance early on, Robert Wright looked to have
a very liberal and concious mindset. Somewhat of an Urban Hippie look going in some of his early LRG days' pictures,
the LRG clothing brand founder might not allude to what he does by style and dress. However, today he has changed
with the financial growth, looking to be more about his tailored fashion game.
Appliable perhaps to Robert Wright early on was perhaps a quote from music artist C.KhiD. "The greatest designers and
artists of our time are great at designing. Sometimes having more interests in design than
creating for themselves. Their pleasure comes in being appreciated by the world," he said.
